I found this new by accident, but it looks like it works. First we'll go over the current method of checking your main index and supplemental pages. The current way to do this is with the query:
site:domain.com/*
Then of course, if you want to check supplementals, you use:
site:domain.com -site:domain.com/*
This query asks Google to bring back the whole site, minus the main index results. This leaves you with the supplemental index results.
Sometimes Google will remove the ability to do these types of queries so it is nice to have a backup. I checked this new one on a couple of sites and it appears to work great. Here is the new query I think I found:
site:*.domain.com
This brings back all of your results in the main index. Not sure why it works, but it does. Then to check supplemental pages, change this query to:
site:domain.com -site:*.domain.com
I haven't tested this on sites that use subdomains instead of directories, but if you only use directories this query should work if Google shuts the existing supplemental query down.
