Drupal's Search Marketing Artillery

SEO and CMS have not always played well together. Many CMS systems have issues with URLs, markup, Session IDs and other issues. Finding a powerful CMS with solid SEO performance is extremely valuable. The Drupal community has done a lot of work to not only make their base system SEO friendly, but have also created many additional modules to help boost SEO and PPC performance. Below are the various modules for search engine marketing.
Search Engine Optimization
- Google Verify: Verify your site with Google Webmaster Central.
- PathAuto: Great for creating keyword friendly URLs in a dynamic and scalable way.
- Page Title: This module allows you to create custom page titles.
- Global Redirect: This module solves canonical domain issues.
- Meta Tags (Nodewords): Enough said.
Paid Search Advertising
- Google Web Optimizer: This makes it easy for your site to make use of the Google's Web Optimizer.
- Multivariate - This module is sick and allows both multivariate and A/B testing. It's baked straight into Drupal. No third party modules.
- Click Heat Map:: This module highlights where people have been clicking on your pages so you can boost conversion rate.
