Agencies really have their work cut out for them when it comes to social media. I know our agency does. Any attempt to "advertise to the members of the social media space is pulverized. An organization making a Digg profile is laughable, especially if they try to market through it. Many spamming attempts now result in being banned. This is especially true for the flagship social sites like Digg and Delicious. The only method that appears to work involves legitimately engaging the communities, digging other people, getting dugg, commenting and participating.
